Mashobra and checked in at the Mahasu House, a boutique hotel run by the very hands-on Shimla-based Walias, Anil-Tina-Amanat. An exquisite place that has the best of amenities to survive the -5/-6-degree dip in temperature, glorious views of snow-covered Himalayan ranges, and is also so pet-friendly that our fur girl was even allowed at the 31st bonfire and singing, we had a splendid stay there. Food was a well-thought-out affair for the Mahasu team.
