then maybe this will be your favorite destination in the future!

What’s in Jawai

Jawai, a small village named after the river of the same name has now become an
attraction for tourists. The area is mainly known as Jawai Dam because it is
located near the dam and it comes under Sumerpur Tehsil of the Pali district in
Rajasthan.
Where a dam is built between mountains and rivers by Maharaja Umaid
Singh, which is adamant today!
it is a small simple village, but its beauty may rival the big places of Rajasthan!
the major attractions of Jawai are their leopards which have never attacked any
human yet!
yes, Jawai is famous for its leopard safari…
Jawai has a dam, river, mountains animal kingdom, and a particular aura of
Rajasthan!

In Jawai there are small places named Shena, Bera, Dechu!
I went there with my whole family for three days!
We stayed in the Shena area!
We booked three cottages there.
Behind mountains, in front of its lake!
What a soothing location it is! right?

Karnimata temple

There is one temple named devgiri Karni Mata temple, which was almost 15 km
from where I stayed!
It’s on the peak of the mountains, and
In the caves of this mountain, leopards are living, which is said that it has never
attacked any human yet!
You have to go there by boat in the rainy season if the farms are filled with
water…
And in the summer season, you can go there by car or walking route!
Depends on the area where you have stayed!

Karnimata Temple

Lakes

There are farms in the flat area of the valleys of the hills, which are filled with
water in the rainy season so that it seems that the huge lake is taking its curve.
Many crocodiles live there as guests!
You can enjoy those sunrises and sunsets there in the company of water!
If you are a flora and fauna lover then it can be the best place for your dream
wedding photoshoot!
People don’t know much about this place therefore it remains as it is in its raw
naturistic beauty!

Leopard safari

Now talking about my favorite experience I felt there!
Leopard safari.
There you have to book a morning or evening safari which you can contact
through the local guide or the place where you are staying.
We sat in an open jeep around 4 pm and went for a ride toward those hills
But we did not know that what we will see will never be forgotten.
These mountains are rock-like big flat and straight upward, not like sand
mountains.
On this smooth solid straight Rocky mountain one can glide his jeep on it through
its peak
Which is risky as well as adventurous!
When the driver takes you to the top of the hills, you can see the view of the
entire Jawai!
The sun is setting
On one side the mountains are shining.
On the other side, the rushing water in the river is rhyming!

Like we used to imagine a picture to draw a natural scene in childhood, it was
exactly the same in real!
We clicked photos there.
Then from there, our guide took us to the leopard location.
It was around 6 pm.
The driver was tracking the information from one hill to another, we were in the
jeep, going from top to bottom, from bottom to top.
Whoever did not grab that last seat would fall down in second.
Around 6:30 pm the driver stopped the jeep in front of a cave which was on the
mountain facing against us.

the leopards are here!

In such a short time, Two small leopard cubs came out of it followed by two huge
big leopards that came out. I just kept watching without blinking even for a sec.
Imagine, the sun is setting you are on the utmost highest hill on a jeep which is
standing on one leg, and those leopards are giving the major charm to this evening!
On returning to our cottages it was already dark, but I saw it was magical
the whole sky was filled with starry lights!
Shiny, sparkle, star-filled galaxy!
One of the best evenings I ever spent at this place.
will never forget this.

Morning mountain trekking

On the last day, in the early morning
We went for little trekking on those rock-solid mountains
In the beginning, it appeared very easy to climb, but after some running!
My Legs and eyes looked back, it seem that someone has drawn a very straight
line through them.
I got goosebumps!
It was slippery though!
After help from trekkers finally we reached on top!

And the view, damn!
Astonishing!
My eyes saw the whole jawai
Sky above
Rocky hills through my eye
And I just saw down
And oh my god!
The whole land is filled with Lush green trees and full of water filled lake river and
this glowy earth!
I looked a little far, and I was able to see the jawai dam closed from there!
Seriously, I can’t even imagine what I felt after seeing this view!
And for this,
For your eyes
For your shiny peace
To feel what I felt
And for you
You have to go there for sure after reading this blog to see what my eyes saw!
