TOP PLACES TO VISIT NEAR BRAHMATAL TREK

For those wanting to explore the hidden jewels of the Himalayas, the Brahmatal trek is one you should plan for. According to Hindu mythology, it derives its name from the famous Brahmatal lake, one of the glacial lakes in the Himalayas, beside which Lord Brahma had taken shelter. I meditated several times. The breathtaking view of snow-capped mountains, lush green forests, mesmerizing trails, and medium-difficulty terrain inspires. You can do this trek even in the bitter cold of December, January, and February. It is situated at an altitude of about 12,250 feet above sea level in the Deval block of the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Brahmatal trek approx 22 km. There is a stretch that starts from Lohajung (Base Camp) and ends when we reach the peak and the spectacular Brahmatal Lake. A small temple is situated next to this lake which adds to the beauty of the Brahmatal lake. The peace of the beautiful mountains can be experienced upon reaching the Brahmatal peak. The peaks of Mount Trishul, Mount Jaropani, and Nanda Ghunti are also visible from the top of Brahmatal.
