3. Vrindavan Society, Thane, Maharashtra

According to rumours, the resident of building 66B took their life, and since then, security personnel on patrol at night have reported seeing a lot of unusual things. One guard said that he once received a slap that was so forceful that caused him to fly and land on the other guard from his chair. They looked about but couldn’t find anyone.

4. Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi

Many visitors here have expressed complaints of being followed when there is actually no one nearby. The fact that there are 103 stairs and you can hear your own footsteps adds to the sense of being pursued. After being used for the latest Bollywood movie “PK”, the location attracts a lot of attention, but when the day wears on and night falls, it may become the spookiest spot in Delhi. The sounds of shifting stones, the cries of bats and birds, and other unsettling events occur here. Despite the fact that it is free to view this memorial, not many people actually go there.

5. Rana Kumbha Palace, Chittorgarh

A woman of the chawl who went to fill up on water once fell into the well and died. Since then, it is said that her ghost still roams around near the vicinity of the well. A woman’s form has been seen by several individuals before she subsequently vanishes. However, the locals assert that her ghost is harmless because it does not bother anyone. But it is risky to go there at night, alone.

7. Delhi Cantonment, Delhi

The supposed ghost resembles a woman wearing a white sari who stands by the roadside around midnight, asking the drivers for a lift. The ghost is claimed to run beside the car when her request is denied.

8. Charleville Mansion, Shimla

This palace was constructed under the British Empire. A British officer named Victor Bayley and his wife rented it in the year 1913. However, he later learned that the residence was inhabited by a poltergeist. He wanted to test this and decided to lock the room, which was said to be haunted. Later, when he opened it, the whole room was shattered into pieces.

9. Dumas Beach, Surat

This beach was used as a burial ground (cemetery) in the past. And for that reason, some claim that this location is haunted. Several people have reported hearing whispers on the beach by themselves. Additionally, there have been instances where the folks went for their nightly stroll but never came back.

10. Brijraj Bhawan Palace Hotel, Kota, Rajasthan

This palace was built in the 19th century to serve as the residence of British officials. However, it was later remodelled into a heritage hotel. Though, it has been alleged that the palace is home to the harmless ghost of Major Burton. He was murdered with his children under the leadership of Mehrab Khan and Jadaya Kayashion in 1857. According to reports, the ghost of the major would slap the guards in order to wake them up to prevent the possibility of another tragedy in the palace.
